Job summary

DLF Seeds is seeking a Customer Service Representative at our Truganina, VIC site. This on-site role supports the sales team by handling orders, stock availability, and delivery coordination with customers ranging from small stores to major accounts.

You will build rapport with customers, manage seasonal demand and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely deliveries while maintaining CRM and ERP records.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience ideally within a wholesale, agricultural or similar environment.
• Strong customer service skills and the confidence to build rapport.
• The ability to identify opportunities and support sales through strong service.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confidence using systems such as Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Experience using Navision or similar ERP systems is helpful but not essential.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Build warm and genuine relationships with customers across all segments
• Identify opportunities by understanding customer history, order patterns and current needs
• Provide clear updates about seasonal supply and product availability
• Manage expectations around delivery timelines and seasonal constraints
• Process orders accurately, efficiently and with strong attention to detail
• Create and manage orders and help ensure supply aligns to customer requirements
• Work closely with sales reps to provide updates and support outcomes for large orders
• Coordinate with internal and external sites to help achieve accurate and timely deliveries
• Manage consignment stock and collaborate with the accounts team
• Maintain accurate notes and data within our CRM and ERP systems
