Job summary

DLF Seeds is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Melbourne to partner with customers across all segments, from small independents to major national accounts. You will manage orders, stock availability and coordinate with sales, sites and freight partners to ensure timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates bring wholesale/agriculture customer service experience, strong communication skills and the ability to handle seasonal demand and supply changes.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience ideally within wholesale, agricultural or similar environment.
• Strong rapport-building and communication skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities and support sales through strong service.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confidence using systems such as Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Experience using Navision or similar ERP systems is helpful but not essential.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Build warm and genuine relationships with customers across all segments.
• Identify opportunities by understanding customer history, order patterns and current needs.
• Provide clear updates about seasonal supply and product availability.
• Manage expectations around delivery timelines and seasonal constraints.
• Process orders accurately, efficiently and with strong attention to detail.
• Create and manage orders and help ensure supply aligns to customer requirements.
• Work closely with sales reps to provide updates and support outcomes for large orders.
• Coordinate with internal and external sites to help achieve accurate and timely deliveries.
• Manage consignment stock and collaborate with the accounts team.
• Maintain accurate notes and data within our CRM and ERP systems.
