Job summary

DLF Seeds Ltd. seeks a Customer Service Representative in Melbourne to act as a trusted partner for customers, from small stores to national accounts. You will manage orders, ensure stock availability, and collaborate with sales, sites and freight partners to support timely deliveries.

You will build rapport, identify opportunities, and provide accurate, timely information to help customers and the sales team achieve positive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in wholesale, agricultural or similar environment.
• Strong customer service skills and the confidence to build rapport.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confidence using systems such as Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Experience using Navision or similar ERP systems is helpful but not essential.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Build warm and genuine relationships with customers across all segments.
• Identify opportunities by understanding customer history, order patterns and current needs.
• Provide clear updates about seasonal supply and product availability.
• Manage expectations around delivery timelines and seasonal constraints.
• Process orders accurately, efficiently and with strong attention to detail.
• Create and manage orders and help ensure supply aligns to customer requirements.
• Work closely with sales reps to provide updates and support outcomes for large orders.
• Coordinate with internal and external sites to help achieve accurate and timely deliveries.
• Manage consignment stock and collaborate with the accounts team.
• Maintain accurate notes and data within our CRM and ERP systems.
