Bonnett's Staff Electrical Contractors in Shepparton VIC is seeking a motivated Security Technician to install, maintain and repair CCTV, access control and related security systems across commercial, industrial and domestic sites.

You will troubleshoot faults, manage projects from start to finish, document variations and mentor apprentices while upholding safety and quality standards.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain accurate job records and ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Security Technician, working across a range of commercial, industrial, and domestic security projects.

Duties include security system installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You'll be technically minded, organised, and confident working independently, while also supporting and collaborating with the wider team.

Installing, commissioning, and maintaining security systems, including CCTV, access control and associated equipment.

Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing security system faults and breakdowns.

Completing scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing.

Managing assigned projects from commencement through to completion, ensuring works are delivered to the required specifications and timeframes.

Identifying and documenting variations to ensure effective cost management.

Providing technical support and guidance to apprentices and other team members.

Maintaining accurate job records and ensuring all work complies with relevant standards, safety requirements, and company procedures.

Who are you?

Experience in the security or electrical industry, with knowledge of CCTV, access control, and electronic security systems.

Take pride in your workmanship and understand 'near enough' is not good enough.

Organised and can manage your time, materials, and workload effectively.

Enjoy troubleshooting and finding practical solutions to technical problems.

Confident communicating with clients, colleagues, and other trades.

Work well independently but understand the importance of being part of a team.

Strong commitment to workplace safety and ensuring everyone gets home safely.

Willing to share your knowledge, support Apprentices and contribute to a positive team environment.

Keen to learn, develop your skills and keep up with new technology.

Hold a current driver's and security licence, or have the ability to obtain the required licence.
