Job summary

Tanksec Solutions is a dynamic security company delivering alarm and CCTV installations across commercial, industrial, retail and residential sites in South East Queensland. We are seeking a motivated Electronic Security Technician to join our team and develop security technology and IT skills.

The role covers service, maintenance, and installation of various systems, with opportunities to learn NX, Crow, Bosch, Paradox, Tecom and Concept panels, while maintaining strong customer relationships

Qualifications

• Experience in electronic security & access control systems.
• Willing to learn new product lines.
• Basic IP networking knowledge.
• Open Cabling Licence and endorsements.
• Current QLD Installer and Adviser Security License.

Job description

Full Time Electronic Security Technician with Tanksec Solutions, to join our team working on a range of Commercial, Industrial, Retail & Residential sites across South East Queensland. This position would suit a motivated individual who is looking to develop security technology and IT skills.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and installation of alarm and CCTV equipment
• Service, maintenance and installation of access control and intercom systems
• Strong customer satisfaction with both new and existing customers
• Interpreting drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
• Completing service documentation and reports accurately

About you

• Knowledge if not willing to learn NX, Crow, Bosch, Paradox, Tecom and Concept Alarm Panels
• Knowledge and experience with both Analogue and IP CCTV systems – including fault finding and diagnostics
• Knowledge of various electronic security & access control systems with the willingness to learn new product
• Basic knowledge with IP Networking & PCs
• Open Cabling Licence and endorsements
• Current Class C drivers license
• Current QLD Installer and Adviser Security License
• General Induction Blue/White Card
• High level of problem solving skills
• Minimum 3 years in similar role – new qualified electricians are encouraged to apply
