Job summary

Site View Security is seeking a Security Technician / Installer to support our growing Queensland operation. This hands-on role covers installation, servicing and commissioning of stand-alone solar-powered security systems across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Ipswich.

You'll work independently within a national team, using CCTV, intrusion detection and remote monitoring technology, and travel to client sites. A mix of practical skills and customer-focused service is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Queensland Driver Licence required.
• Current White Card.
• Queensland Security Provider Licence – Class 2 (Security Equipment Installer).
• Blue Card / Working with Children clearance.
• EWP licence up to 11m – preferred but not essential.
• CCTV and/or alarm experience preferred but not essential.
• Confidence using hand and power tools.
• Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A proactive, reliable and positive attitude.
• The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.

As we continue to grow our Queensland operation, we're looking for a Security Technician / Installer to join our team.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are quite the same.

You’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and preparation of Site View's standalone solar-powered security systems, working both independently and alongside our team.

You’ll travel to customer sites throughout Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Ipswich, working with modern CCTV, intrusion detection, communications and remote monitoring technology.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Installing and commissioning Site View security systems
• Servicing, maintaining and troubleshooting equipmentPreparing and manufacturing equipment for deployment

• Liaising professionally with customers and site contacts

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings the right attitude first.

Previous CCTV, security or technical experience is highly regarded, but we’re also open to someone with strong practical skills who is eager to learn.

You’ll ideally have:

• A current Queensland Driver Licence
• Current White Card
• Queensland Security Provider Licence – Class 2 (Security Equipment Installer)
