Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Service Technician in Sydney to install and support CCTV, Access Control, Intercom and IP systems. You will respond to service calls, perform maintenance and complete commissioning for small projects, while delivering high-quality customer service.

The role requires technical knowledge, strong communication, and adherence to safety standards. Training and development are provided within a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• High school completion or equivalent and an appropriate security qualification.
• Understanding of Australian Standards relevant to security systems.
• Strong planning, project management, and prioritisation abilities.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and support CCTV, access control, intercom and IP systems.
• Respond to service calls, perform maintenance and commissioning on small projects.
• Prepare accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Diagnose issues, troubleshoot and resolve hardware or software faults.
• Ensure safety policies and regulatory requirements are followed.
