Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking a highly motivated Security Supervisor to manage a premium Shopping Center site in Doncaster, VIC. The role requires at least 2 years of security management or supervisory experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Position: Full-time with Level 5 and generous discretionary bonus plus a sign-on bonus upon joining. You will lead a security team, oversee the control room, and ensure high security and operational standards while maintaining

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills required.

• Reliability and punctuality, with a track record of reliability.
• Must hold a valid security licence and driver’s licence.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of Security Officers.
• Oversee the site-based control room and CCTV system.
• Manage the client relationship on site and report to regional manager.
• Assess and mitigate risks on site.
• Respond to calls for assistance and alarm events.
• Engage with persons of interest and maintain professional conduct.
• Communicate effectively with all on duty.
• Operate radios and site communication systems.
• Provide guidance and assist all on duty.
• Promote and maintain workplace health and safety.
• Input data on site/client systems as per SOPs.
• Recruit and train new employees.

The Role

Millennium is currently seeking a highly motivated Security Supervisor to manage one of our Premium Shopping Center sites in Doncaster, VIC.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ security management or supervisory experience, strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a professional presentation.

The role requires someone reliable, responsible, and capable of leading the team while maintaining high security and operational standards.

Position available: Full-time

Level 5 + Generous Discretionary Bonus + Generous Sign on Bonus upon joining!!

ROSTER

• Tuesday to Friday: 8:00 to 18:00
• Saturday: 9:00 to 18:00

Duties & Responsibilities Include

• Manage and lead a team of Security Officers
• Overseeing the site-based control room and CCTV system
• Manage the client relationship on site and report up to regional manager
• Assess and mitigate risks on site
• Respond to calls for assistance and respond to alarm events
• Implement effective strategies for engaging with persons of interest
• Communicate effectively with all persons whilst on-duty
• Use communication systems including portable two-way radios
• Provide advice, directions and display a willingness to assist all persons whilst on-duty
• Promote and maintain workplace health and safety\
• Input data on site/client systems, as required by site SOPs
• Recruit and train new employees

Key Selection Criteria

• Valid Security Licence is a must
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required
• Security supervisory or management experience of 2 years preferred
• Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded)
• Strong leadership skills and a professional presentation.
• Reliable transportation (preferred).
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• The ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage client relationships and stakeholders on site
• A proven track record of reliability and punctuality
