Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking a highly motivated Security Supervisor to manage a premium shopping center site in Doncaster, VIC. The successful candidate will lead a team, oversee CCTV and control room operations, and maintain high security standards while managing client relationships.

Requirements include a valid Security Licence, Driver's Licence, and 2 years of supervisory experience. A professional presentation, strong leadership, and reliable transport are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Licence is required.

• Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Security supervisory or management experience of 2 years preferred.
• Previous experience in a retail environment is highly regarded.
• Strong leadership and professional presentation.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage client relationships and stakeholders on site.
• Proven track record of reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Security Officers.
• Oversee the site-based control room and CCTV system.
• Manage client relationships on site and report to regional manager.
• Assess and mitigate on-site risks.
• Respond to alarms and calls for assistance.
• Engage with persons of interest and maintain professional conduct on duty.
• Communicate effectively with all on-duty personnel.
• Utilise portable two-way radios for on-site operations.

The Role

Millennium is currently seeking a highly motivatedSecurity Supervisorto manage one of our Premium Shopping Center sites in Doncaster, VIC.

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' security management or supervisory experience, strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a professional presentation.

The role requires someone reliable, responsible, and capable of leading the team while maintaining high security and operational standards.

Level 5 + Generous Discretionary Bonus + Generous Sign on Bonus upon joining!!

ROSTER

Tuesday to Friday: 8:00 to 18:00

Saturday: 9:00 to 18:00

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Manage and lead a team of Security Officers
• Overseeing the site-based control room and CCTV system
• Manage the client relationship on site and report up to regional manager
• Assess and mitigate risks on site
• Respond to calls for assistance and respond to alarm events
• Implement effective strategies for engaging with persons of interest
• Communicate effective with all persons whilst on-duty
• Use communication systems including portable two-way radios
• Provide advice, directions and display a willingness to assist all persons whilst on-duty
• Promote and maintain workplace health and safety
• Input data on site/client systems, as required by site SOPs
• Recruit and train new employees

Key Selection Criteria:

• Valid Security Licence is a must
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required
• Security supervisory or management experience of 2 years preferred
• Previous experience in a retail environment (highly regarded)
• Strong leadership skills and a professional presentation.
• Reliable transportation (preferred).
