Job summary

Securecorp is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at a high-profile retail site in North Lakes. You will lead day-to-day security operations on site, manage incidents and provide customer-focused security services to staff and retailers.

This Level 3 role offers a fortnightly rotating roster, progression within a national company, and attractive benefits including superannuation, a Supervisor Allowance and EAP support.

Qualifications

• Current QLD Security Licence with required functions.
• Experience in a Security Supervisor or senior role.
• Retail security experience desirable.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage incidents and direct a security team.
• Professional presentation and proactive security mindset.
• Roaster flexibility including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day security operations on site.
• Provide professional security services and customer service.
• Conduct patrols, monitoring and surveillance activities.
• Manage access control, crowd management and site security procedures.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and emergency situations.
• Identify, assess and manage security, safety and loss prevention risks.
• Provide direction and support to security officers on shift.
• Ensure site procedures, client requirements and security standards are maintained.
• Complete incident reports, shift reports and daily logs.
• Liaise with client, retailers, emergency services and site stakeholders.

Job description

Securecorp is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at a high-profile retail site in North Lakes. This position is responsible for leading security operations on site, supporting the security team, managing incidents, and maintaining a safe, secure and professional environment for customers, staff and retailers.

This is a Level 3 Security position, attracting Security Services Industry Award rates, superannuation and a Supervisor Allowance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise day-to-day security operations on site
• Provide professional security services and customer service
• Conduct patrols, monitoring and surveillance activities
• Manage access control, crowd management and site security procedures
• Respond to alarms, incidents and emergency situations
• Identify, assess and manage security, safety and loss prevention risks
• Provide direction and support to security officers on shift
• Ensure site procedures, client requirements and security standards are maintained
• Complete accurate incident reports, shift reports and daily logs
• Liaise professionally with the client, retailers, emergency services and site stakeholders

Skills & Experience

• Current QLD Security Licence with relevant security functions
• Previous experience in a Security Supervisor or senior security role
• Previous retail security experience highly desirable
• Current First Aid & CPR certification
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to confidently manage incidents and provide direction to a security team
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Professional presentation and a proactive security mindset
• Ability to work the required rotating fortnightly roster, including evenings and weekends

Week 1

• Thursday: 3:00pm – 1:00am
• Friday: 10:00am – 7:00pm
• Saturday: 11:00am – 8:30pm

Week 2

• Thursday: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
• Friday: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
• Saturday: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
• Sunday: 3:00pm – 12:00am
