Job summary

Wormald Security in Canberra is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Security Sales Professional to drive growth across the ACT and surrounding regions, delivering integrated electronic security solutions to government, defence, and enterprise clients.

Reporting to the sales leadership team, you will develop new relationships, manage key accounts, lead tenders, and collaborate with engineering and project teams to tailor solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience selling electronic security solutions.
• Experience with government, defence, enterprise, or Tier 1 customers.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
• Security industry knowledge and licensing requirements; Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain AGSVA clearances.
• Knowledge of Gallagher, Geutebrück, Milestone, Genetec, AXIS, Hanwha, Avigilon is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Developing and expanding relationships with government, commercial, defence, and enterprise customers.
• Identifying and securing new project, service, maintenance, and upgrade opportunities.
• Managing strategic customer accounts and key stakeholder relationships.
• Leading tenders, proposals, and customer presentations.
• Working closely with engineering and project teams to develop tailored solutions.
• Contributing to sales strategy and business development initiatives.
• Achieving sales targets while maintaining customer satisfaction and reputation.
