Job summary

Johnson Controls in Sydney is seeking a Project Manager to lead security projects from inception to delivery. Based in our Sydney office, you will drive on-time, on-budget outcomes while building strong client relationships.

You will plan, coordinate and deliver project artifacts, manage finances and risks, and ensure compliance with safety standards. A background in Security/EACs, IT networking, and electrical understanding will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Security / EACs solutions.
• Skills in IT, network communication and PC hardware configuration.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Security / EACs post qualification.
• Extensive Commercial Security operational experience.
• Excellent written/report writing & verbal communications skills.
• Great customer service skills.
• Passion to drive front line safety identification and resolution.
• Electrical trade qualification and understanding of electrical drawings.
• IT networking understanding.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and prepare project deliverables required to initiate, develop, and execute assigned projects.
• Supply leadership and manage projects to meet performance and project requirements.
• Ensure project financial status is regularly reviewed and updated.
• Ensure a high quality of work and compliance to OHS&E standards.
• Effectively manage customer/contractor relationships
• Identify opportunities, improvements and solutions that will enable you to plan and drive continuous initiatives for organizational improvement.
• Demonstrate elevated levels of disciplined, professionalism, ethics, and accuracy in delivery of works under limited timeframe pressures.
