Job summary

Johnson Controls in Sydney is seeking a Project Manager to lead security projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes and strong customer relationships.

You will coordinate deliverables, manage finances, and uphold safety and quality standards while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Security / EACs solutions is required.
• IT networking understanding and PC hardware configuration are essential.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Security / EACs post qualification.
• Extensive Commercial Security operational experience.
• Excellent written/report writing & verbal communications skills.
• Great customer service skills are required.
• Passion to drive front line safety identification and resolution.
• Electrical trade qualification and understanding of electrical drawings.
• IT networking understanding is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and prepare project deliverables for initiating, developing, and executing projects.
• Lead and manage projects to meet performance and budget requirements.
• Regularly review and update project financial status.
• Maintain high quality of work and compliance with OHS&E standards.
• Manage customer/contractor relationships effectively.
• Identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate professionalism, ethics, and accuracy under time pressures.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our project team based in our Sydney office with a focus on Security Projects.

As a project manager you will be empowered to ensure flawless delivery in order to meet our customers’ expectations and needs. This will include on time and on budget delivery of our many and varied projects.

You will build and maintain excellent customer relationships to ensure continued success. You will be looked upon for your organizational skills and technical innovation to help a fast-paced team perform at the highest level.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan, coordinate and prepare project deliverables required to initiate, develop, and execute assigned projects.

• Supply leadership and manage projects to meet performance and project requirements.

• Ensure project financial status is regularly reviewed and updated.

• Ensure a high quality of work and compliance to OHS&E standards.

• Effectively manage customer/contractor relationships

• Identify opportunities, improvements and solutions that will enable you to plan and drive continuous initiatives for organizational improvement.

• Demonstrate elevated levels of disciplined, professionalism, ethics, and accuracy in delivery of works under limited timeframe pressures.
