Michael Page Australia is seeking a Security Operations Lead for a 12-month contract based in Geelong with hybrid working arrangements. The role focuses on establishing the initial security operations capability to support the organisation's new Azure environment and services.

You will oversee daily security operations, partner with platform, infrastructure and service delivery teams, implement security protocols, monitor incidents, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive risk-based decisions in

Qualifications

Experience leading security operations, cyber defence, incident response or SOC.
Experience maturing security operations with governance and processes.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies (Sentinel, Defender, Purview).
Experience in cloud transformation and complex enterprise environments.

Responsabilités

Oversee and manage daily security operations to protect systems and data.
Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, service delivery and transition teams to integrate security requirements.
Develop and implement security protocols and procedures.
Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches.
Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
Collaborate with technology teams to assess and mitigate risks.
Perform regular security audits and assessments.
Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies.
Provide guidance on security best practices.
