Job summary

Gallant Collective seeks an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a 6-month contract, based in Melbourne with Geelong on-site three days a week. You will manage Windows Server environments, VMware, and OT-enabled systems to support critical industrial operations.

Qualifications

Strong experience in Windows Server administration.
Experience supporting VMware environments.
Background in Systems Administration or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
Experience performing system upgrades, patching and maintenance.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes.
Experience within manufacturing, utilities, mining, energy or critical infrastructure environments.
Exposure to Operational Technology (OT) environments.
Experience supporting cyber security remediation programs.

Responsibilities

Cyber Security and Vulnerability Remediation: investigate vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation with stakeholders.
Infrastructure Support and Administration: manage Windows Server and VMware environments, perform upgrades and maintenance.
Infrastructure Projects: support refresh and upgrade programs and modernisation efforts.
Stakeholder Engagement: work with engineering, laboratories, and operators to translate technical issues into business outcomes.
