Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking an NV1 Security Officer in casual capacity to maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment while delivering high-standard customer service. This role combines access control, monitoring and incident response across day and night shifts.

You will hold a current Security Licence and NV1 clearance, have First Aid/CPR, and be able to work weekdays, weekends, and varying shifts. Australian working rights and a professional presentation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the arrival and departure of employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Maintain accurate visitor and contractor registers.
• Issue and monitor access control credentials, including visitor passes.
• Monitor and review CCTV systems, including retrieval of historical footage when required.
• Operate walk-through and handheld metal detection equipment.
• Maintain a professional, approachable, and visible security presence.
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Identify, assess, and report security risks, taking appropriate action in accordance with site procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all client, site, and company security protocols.
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records and documentation.

About the Role

As an NV1 Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role combines access control, monitoring and surveillance, incident response, and customer-facing responsibilities. You will play a key role in protecting people, property, and assets while ensuring all security procedures and site requirements are consistently upheld.
