Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking an NV1 Security Officer in Australia to uphold safe, secure environments with strong customer service. This casual role requires managing access, monitoring CCTV, reporting incidents, and patrolling sites while adhering to site procedures.

The ideal candidate will hold a current Security Licence and NV1 clearance, have First Aid/CPR certification, and be able to work day and night shifts, including weekends. Australian working rights are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the arrival and departure of employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Maintain accurate visitor and contractor registers.
• Issue and monitor access control credentials, including visitor passes.
• Monitor CCTV systems and retrieve historical footage as needed.
• Operate walk-through and handheld metal detection equipment.
• Maintain a professional security presence and customer service.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Identify, assess and report security risks per site procedures.
• Ensure compliance with client, site, and company security protocols.
• Complete incident reports and maintain records.

About the Role

As an NV1 Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role combines access control, monitoring and surveillance, incident response, and customer-facing responsibilities. You will play a key role in protecting people, property, and assets while ensuring all security procedures and site requirements are consistently upheld.

Shifts: Day and Night Shifts | Weekdays and Weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the arrival and departure of employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Maintain accurate visitor and contractor registers.

• Maintain a professional, approachable, and visible security presence.
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance.

• Ensure compliance with all client, site, and company security protocols.
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records and documentation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• A current and valid Security Licence.
• An active NV1 Security Clearance (essential).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Previous experience in a security role.
• Availability to work a variety of day and night shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to conduct patrols when required.
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• The ability to work independently while following established procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional presentation and customer-focused approach.
• A proven track record of reliability, accountability, and punctuality.
• Full Australian working rights.
