Job summary

Securitas is seeking confident, professional Security Officers for a casual role at Eastern Creek, NSW. You will be the first point of contact, managing access and providing outstanding customer service to employees, visitors and contractors.

The role combines security, access control and data entry with a strong emphasis on following site procedures and maintaining security standards. Shift rotations include day and night blocks.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Security Licence.
• Experience in gatehouse security, logistics, FMCG or a similar operational environment.
• Strong computer literacy with high-volume data entry and records management.
• Confident using Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Professional communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage site access and maintain accurate records and data entry.
• Provide security services in line with site procedures and client requirements.
• Deliver high standard of customer service reflecting Securitas values.
• Conduct site patrols and monitor CCTV, emergency and fire systems.
• Greet and assist employees, visitors and contractors.
• Issue keys/access cards to authorised personnel and monitor site activity.
• Respond to incidents and complete accurate reports.

• Support protection of people, property and site assets.
• Approximately 90% of role involves computer-based administration and data entry.

About the Role

Our client is a leading beverage manufacturer and distributor with a strong national presence and multiple manufacturing and logistics facilities across Australia.

We’re looking for experienced Security Officers to join the team at Eastern Creek, NSW. This role combines security, access control, customer service and a strong focus on data entry and administrative tasks.

As the first point of contact for employees, contractors and visitors, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming site while supporting the smooth operation of the facility.

Experience in an FMCG, logistics or gatehouse environment will be highly regarded.

Job Type: Casual

Shift Timings : Based on operational requirements 6AM-6PM/ 6PM-6AM

Location: Eastern Creek, NSW

Key responsibilities

• Manage site access and maintain accurate records and data entry.
• Provide security services in line with site procedures and client requirements.

• Use Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook, for daily administration.
• Support the protection of people, property and site assets.
• Approximately 90% of the role involves computer-based administration and data entry, so strong computer skills and attention to detail are essential.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Current NSW Security Licence.
• Experience in gatehouse security, logistics, FMCG or a similar operational environment.
• Strong computer literacy with the ability to manage high-volume data entry and maintain accurate records.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Professional communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to manage site access, visitor movements and security documentation with attention to detail.
• Comfortable monitoring CCTV and security systems and responding appropriately to incidents.
• Strong understanding of the importance of following site procedures and maintaining security standards.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotational day and night shifts.
