Job summary

Australian Concert & Entertainment Security (ACESGroup) is seeking a professional Security Officer to join our team at a high-profile aviation facility in Brisbane. The casual role runs weekday mornings, 6:00am–10:00am, Monday to Friday, delivering security presence and facilitating safe operations.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols, incident reporting, and delivering customer service to staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Current QLD Security Licence.
• Current First Aid certificate.
• Aviation Security Identification Card (or ability to obtain).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional presentation and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet all site and aviation security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Providing a professional and visible security presence
• Access control and monitoring entry to the facility
• Conducting security patrols and routine site checks
• Monitoring and reporting suspicious or unusual activity
• Responding appropriately to incidents and security concerns
• Maintaining accurate security logs and incident reports
• Providing professional customer service to employees, visitors and contractors
• Working closely with site stakeholders and the wider security team
• Delivering security services in accordance with client requirements and ACESGroup standards.

This is a casual opportunity offering weekday hours, 6:00am - 10:00am, Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for providing a professional security presence and supporting the safety and security of the facility, its people and operations.

Typical duties may include:

• Providing a professional and visible security presence
• Access control and monitoring entry to the facility
• Conducting security patrols and routine site checks
• Monitoring and reporting suspicious or unusual activity
• Responding appropriately to incidents and security concerns
• Maintaining accurate security logs and incident reports
• Providing professional customer service to employees, visitors and contractors
• Working closely with site stakeholders and the wider security team
• Delivering security services in accordance with client requirements and ACESGroup standards.

Essential Criteria

To be considered, you will require:

• Current QLD Security Licence
• Current First Aid certificate
• Aviation Security Identification Card (or ability to obtain)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional presentation and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet all site and aviation security requirements
• Availability to work 6:00am - 10:00am, Monday to Friday.

Previous experience working within aviation, critical infrastructure or other high-security environments will be highly regarded.
