Job summary

ACESGroup is seeking a Security Officer for a Brisbane aviation facility. The casual role runs Monday to Friday, 6:00am–10:00am, with duties including access control, patrols, logging, and customer service.

You will work with the security team to meet client requirements and aviation standards, delivering a visible security presence in a high-profile environment. Training and career development are available.

Qualifications

• Current Queensland Security Licence.
• Current First Aid certificate.
• Aviation Security Identification Card (or ability to obtain).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional presentation and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet all site and aviation security requirements.
• Availability to work 6:00am-10:00am, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Providing a professional and visible security presence.
• Access control and monitoring entry to the facility.
• Conducting security patrols and routine site checks.
• Monitoring and reporting suspicious or unusual activity.
• Responding appropriately to incidents and security concerns.

About the Role

ACESGroup is seeking a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team at a high-profile aviation facility in Brisbane.

This is a casual opportunity offering weekday hours, 6:00am-10:00am, Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for providing a professional security presence and supporting the safety and security of the facility, its people and operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

Typical duties may include:

• Providing a professional and visible security presence
• Access control and monitoring entry to the facility
• Conducting security patrols and routine site checks
• Monitoring and reporting suspicious or unusual activity
• Responding appropriately to incidents and security concerns
• Maintaining accurate security logs and incident reports
• Providing professional customer service to employees, visitors and contractors
• Working closely with site stakeholders and the wider security team
• Delivering security services in accordance with client requirements and ACESGroup standards.

To be considered, you will require:

• Current QLD Security Licence
• Current First Aid certificate
• Aviation Security Identification Card (or ability to obtain)

Previous experience working within aviation, critical infrastructure or other high-security environments will be highly regarded.
