Securitas Australia AB is seeking a Full-time Security Officer in Victoria (VIC). The role focuses on delivering high‑level security and customer service for a global client, with shift timing from Monday to Friday, 0600–1800.

Candidates should hold a valid Security Licence, have strong communication skills, and be reliable to work independently or as part of a team. You will monitor access control, operate site systems, and maintain logs while upholding Securitas’ values of Integrity, Vigilance

Qualificações

• Must have a valid Security Licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail, situational awareness and sound judgement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Punctual, reliable and accountable.
• Previous security experience, preferably in access control or guardhouse operations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide security services in line with site SOPs and customer requirements to protect people, property and assets.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access, verify identification and manage visitor, contractor and delivery movements.
• Operate gates and barriers, maintain accurate logs and conduct authorised inspections where required.
• Deliver professional customer service, demonstrating Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
• Monitor available security systems, manage traffic flow and respond to incidents in line with site procedures.
• Report security concerns, equipment faults and safety hazards, maintaining accurate records.
