Western Health is seeking Security Officers to join a dynamic team ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors. The roles cover Sunshine, Williamstown and Bacchus Marsh Hospitals with part-time hours across a fortnight.

You must hold the Certificate II Security Guard course and a Victorian Private Security Licence, plus relevant legislations knowledge. Applicants should have a Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate, demonstrate customer service focus

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Security Guard Unarmed Guard Certificate II course
• Victorian Private Security Individual Licence
• Current knowledge of Victorian legislation relevant to your role as a Security Officer
• Current knowledge of emergency equipment such as Fire Extinguishers
• A current Working with Children Check – Employee Status
• A current Workplace First Aid Certificate

Responsabilités

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors
• Provide access control and monitoring across Sunshine, Williamstown and Bacchus Marsh sites
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a timely, professional manner
• Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to support safety initiatives
• Assist in risk assessment and incident reporting to management
• Demonstrate Western Health values in all interactions with the community

Western Health seeks experienced Security Industry Professional who wish to join a dynamic team at the forefront of providing a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

We are seeking Security Officers with 24/7 availability to work across our sites at Sunshine, Williamstown, and Bacchus Marsh Hospitals.

Interacting with a culturally diverse range of customers you will be able to demonstrate the Western Health values of Compassion Accountability, Respect, Excellence & Safety. In effect you will deliver a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Successful completion of the Security Guard Unarmed Guard Certificate II course
