Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking a Security Officer to join a security team protecting an iconic retail shopping centre in Erina, Central Coast. You will maintain a safe environment for staff and visitors while delivering high-quality customer service through patrols, incident response and timely communications.

The role offers full-time and part-time shifts, with day and night work on both weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• A valid Security Licence.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Previous security experience (retail experience highly regarded).
• Availability to work day/night and weekday/weekend shifts.
• Good physical fitness; patrols required.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A reliable and punctual work history.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols to ensure safety and security of people, property and assets.
• Provide a professional and approachable security presence.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, emergencies and requests for assistance.
• Identify and assess risks and take appropriate action per procedures.
• Adhere to all site and company security protocols.
• Complete incident reports and maintain accurate records.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a security team securing an iconic large retail shopping centre in Erina on the Central Coast. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for centre staff and visitors while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role involves a mix of security duties including patrols, incident response and customer service.

Positions available:

Full-time and Part-time

Award Level: Level 2 and penalty rates

Shifts:

Weekday and weekend | Day and night shifts

Key Responsibilities
