Job summary

Epsilon Tech is seeking a Grade 3 Security Technician to join the EBA project team for new construction installs of electronic security and building technology systems. You will install, test, and commission Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, and automation systems on major projects, collaborating with site managers and trades to meet schedules.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will interpret plans, adhere to WHS standards, and deliver high-quality workmanship with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in electronic security, electrical, or related technical environment.
• Experience on EBA construction sites.
• Current Security Licence and Driver's Licence.
• Construction White Card and WHS awareness.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, fit-off, test and commission electronic security systems across new construction projects.
• Work closely with Site Managers, builders, supervisors and other trades to meet project programs.
• Read and interpret plans, schematics, cable layouts and technical documentation.
• Complete works accurately and efficiently to a high standard.
• Identify and rectify installation defects and technical issues.
• Complete testing, commissioning and project handover documentation.
• Maintain compliance with WHS requirements, SWMS, site rules and company procedures.
• Maintain excellent workmanship, professionalism and communication on site.
• Promote safe work practices and correctly use required PPE.

EBA Projects | New Construction | Epsilon Tech

Epsilon Tech is looking for an experienced Grade 3 Security Technician to join our growing EBA project team.

This is a hands‑on role working across major construction and development projects, installing and commissioning electronic security and building technology systems.

About the Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will work alongside builders, supervisors and other trades to deliver high‑quality electronic security installations in accordance with project specifications, EBA site requirements and Epsilon Tech standards.

You will be responsible for the installation, fit‑off, testing and commissioning of systems including:

• Access Control
• CCTV
• Intercom Systems
• Automation Systems
• Associated cabling and infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Install, fit‑off, test and commission electronic security systems across new construction projects
• Work closely with Site Managers, builders, supervisors and other trades to meet project programs
• Read and interpret plans, schematics, cable layouts and technical documentation
• Complete works accurately and efficiently to a high standard

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Minimum 3 years' experience within electronic security, electrical, communications or a related technical environment
• Experience working on EBA construction sites
• Strong electronic security installation and commissioning skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and schematics
• Experience with Access Control, CCTV and Intercom systems
• Relevant Certificate III, trade, telecommunications or security industry qualification preferred
• Current Security Licence
• Current Driver's Licence
• Construction White Card
• Strong understanding of site safety and WHS requirements
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a project team
