NHN Group is seeking motivated Security Guards to provide professional security services across hospital and airport environments in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. This casual role offers day, night and weekend shifts, with 20–30+ hours for the right candidate, a strong induction, supplied PPE and uniforms, and clear career development within a structured team.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and manage access to designated secured areas in line with site procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence to ensure safety of patients, visitors, staff and passengers.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, alarms, disturbances, and requests for assistance.
• Assist with conflict resolution and de-escalation of challenging situations.
• Report operational concerns or suspicious behaviour to the Security Contact.
• Maintain accurate incident reports in line with SOPs.
• Act as a mobile deterrent and provide a visible security presence across the site.

Role Overview:

• Monitor and manage access to designated secured and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence to support the safety of patients, visitors, staff and passengers.
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, alarms, disturbances, and requests for assistance.
• Assist with conflict resolution and de-escalation of challenging situations while maintaining a calm and professional approach.
• Report any operational concerns or suspicious behaviour to the Security Contact.
• Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports in line with SOPs.
• Act as a mobile deterrent to unauthorised access and provide a visible security presence across the site.

About You:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A current NSW Security Licence.
• A valid Provide First Aid Certificate.
• A current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Strong communication and situational awareness skills

Highly Regarded:

• Experience in Hospital, Aviation or Critical Infrastructure Security
• Holds a Red ASIC Card
• Experience in patrols
