Job summary

Panopticon Protection is seeking Security Guards to join our team in Sydney NSW. This casual position offers great venues and flexible shifts across evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

As a Security Guard, you will protect assets, personnel, and premises in the Hospitality Arts and Entertainment sectors. You will be the first point of contact at venues, manage entry and exit, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Security License or willingness to obtain one.
• Current First Aid certificate.
• Current RSA certificate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and patrol.
• Reliability and punctuality, with a professional approach to work.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to complete reports and maintain records.
• Previous security experience or customer-facing roles is advantageous but not essential.
• The ability to work flexibly, including potential shifts during evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact at venues events sites.

• Conducting thorough inspections of premises, buildings, and grounds to identify potential security risks.
• Responding promptly to security incidents and emergency situations with professionalism and calm.
• Writing legislative and pro active security logs.

• Providing excellent customer service to patrons and guests whilst maintaining security standards.
