Job summary

Naskam Security Services on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a casual/part-time Security Control Room Operator (CRO) to monitor alarms, coordinate guards, and respond to customer inquiries. Training will be provided and shifts rotate across days, afternoons, nights, and weekends.

Applicants must hold a current QLD Security Officer licence, be computer literate with fast typing, and reside in the Sunshine Coast area.

Job description

This position will suit a Security Guard/Officer wanting to escape the rainy patrol nights, unpredictable hours and violence or an experienced CRO.

Naskam Security Services operates one of the most advanced Grade A Central Monitoring Stations in Australia being based at Warana on the Sunshine Coast.

A vacancy has become available for a casual/part time Security Control Room Operator /CRO position with fantastic working conditions on a rotating shift work basis.

Training will be supplied to successful candidates. Additional ongoing training & support provided after successful completion of the initial training period.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring & Actioning of alarm systems alerts.
• Dispatching guards & patrols in response to alerts.
• Responding to customer enquiries via both email & telephone.
• Monitoring camera and video surveillance systems across multiple sites.
• Ensuring compliance and service levels are achieved.
• Data entry and general administration duties.

Successful applicants must have the following attributes:

• Must have a current QLD Security Officer licence.
• Must be capable of working days, afternoon, nights, weekends & public holidays.
• Must live in the Sunshine Coast Area.
• Will have customer service experience.
• Must be computer literate with fast and accurate typing capabilities.
• Highly developed communication skills. A polite and confident phone manner.
• Ability to work in a team environment. Be self-motivated and have a willingness to learn.

Candidates must be flexible with availability for (day, afternoon, night and weekend shifts). Rosters will vary & Operators must develop experience in all shift types.
