Job summary

Accenture Newcastle is seeking a Security Consultant - H&PS to join our hybrid team, tackling complex security challenges across UK health, public sector, Defence and Central Government. You’ll apply cloud, identity, and threat-management skills to help clients secure their environments and meet regulatory requirements.

The role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies, a broad client base, and opportunities to expand knowledge in security architecture.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in security domains including cloud services, app security, identity and vulnerability management, and security architecture.
• Familiarity with AI security considerations and secure-by-design principles is a plus.
• Ability to translate security concepts into practical guidance for delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple security services (Threat & Vulnerability Management, Identity & Access Management, GRC, Secure by Design).
• Help clients gain visibility and control of security risks and deliver secure solutions.
• Maintain evidence linking security obligations, threats, controls, testing outcomes and risks.
• Provide assurance evidence to support go-live and in-service risk decisions.
• Interpret laws, policies, standards, and translate them into practical security requirements for projects.
• Support compliance and governance throughout delivery.
• Collaborate with project teams to embed security controls from design to operation.
