Job summary
HUB24 Limited is seeking a Systems Security Engineer to design, implement and coordinate security across HUB24's technology landscape. You will work with architecture, engineering, development and operations teams to embed secure practices and improve cyber resilience in a highly regulated environment.
The role balances technical depth with stakeholder engagement and offers flexible, hybrid working arrangements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cyber security or related tech role.
- Experience with cloud and on‑prem environments and networking.
- Design and implement security solutions (EDR, PAM, IAM, SIEM).
- Familiar with ISO 27001, NIST, ACSC Essential Eight.
- Experience with security reviews and secure‑by‑design principles.
Responsibilities
- Analyse HUB24's security posture and identify improvements.
- Design and coordinate security across cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments.
- Lead security initiatives aligned to Cyber Security roadmap.
- Embed security and privacy requirements into technology solutions.
- Conduct security reviews and provide guidance for secure by design.
- Support Security Operations with escalation and expertise.
- Develop and implement information security policies and standards.
- Assist with audits, risk assessments and vulnerability management.
