Job summary

Redwolf + Rosch is seeking an experienced Security Architect to lead a high-visibility Cyber Security Program in Queensland on a long-term engagement through July 2027. This hands-on role requires architecting security frameworks, delivering High-Level Designs, and strengthening the organisation's security posture in collaboration with program management and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Security Architect in large enterprise environments.
• Experience in BFSI or regulated environments is highly desirable.
• Deep practical knowledge of Workforce IAM (SailPoint) and CIAM solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with MS Purview (DLP), Entra ID, and cloud security architectures.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural guidance across enterprise Identity & Access Management (SailPoint).
• Lead the architecture and technical evaluation phase for CIAM vendor strategy.
• Guide ongoing Microsoft Purview platform configurations (DLP).
• Evaluate legacy systems, write foundational architectural documentation, produce HLDs, and strengthen posture.
• Bridge strategy and delivery as project workshops ramp up.

• Daily Rate: $1,050 – $1,200 / day (Inclusive of Super)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to step into a high-visibility Cyber Security Program for a major Queensland organisation on a long-term engagement through July 2027. This is not an advisory role from afar, we are looking for a hands-on technical leader who is comfortable "jumping into the pool" to help shape, document, and execute key security capabilities. You will work closely with Program Management and enterprise delivery teams to establish architectural frameworks, author High-Level Designs (HLDs), and strengthen the overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Workforce IAM: Provide architectural guidance and oversight across enterprise Identity & Access Management (SailPoint).
• Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM): Lead the architecture and technical evaluation phase for upcoming vendor selection and strategy.
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Guide ongoing Microsoft Purview platform configurations
• Cyber Hygiene & Architecture: Evaluate legacy systems, write foundational architectural documentation, produce HLDs, and strengthen posture across Entra ID, Obsidian, and the broader security stack.
• Hands-on Delivery: Bridge the gap between strategy and implementation as delivery teams ramp up for major project workshops.

About You

• Proven Track Record: Solid experience as a Security Architect across large-scale enterprise environments.
• Industry Experience: Background in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance) or regulated environments is highly desirable.
• Identity & Access Management Depth: Deep practical knowledge of Workforce IAM (SailPoint) and modern CIAM solutions.
• Microsoft & Cyber Stack: Strong hands-on experience with MS Purview (DLP), Entra ID, and cloud security architectures.
• Pragmatic & Delivery-focused: Capability to build architecture from the ground up where established processes may not yet exist.
• Stakeholder & Workshop Facilitation: Excellent communication skills to lead technical design workshops and collaborate across technology pools.

Work Arrangement & Availability

• Contract Duration: Long-term engagement through July 2027.
• Onsite Commitment: 5 days per fortnight in the Brisbane CBD office (Friday anchor days required).
• Start Date: ASAP
