Job summary

Babcock Australasia is seeking a Security Advisor in Adelaide to deliver expert guidance on protective security and risk management. You will help develop security policies, manage access control, and drive compliance with DISP, DSPF, PSPF, and ASIO notes within a dynamic, multi-program environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, governance of security controls, and continuous improvement to protect people, information, and assets across the organisation.

Qualifications

• NV1 Defence security clearance holder or eligible.
• Qualifications in Protective Security and risk management.
• DISP Security Officers training or willingness to complete.
• Understanding of DSPF, PSPF and ASIO notes.
• Experience with AGSVA and Defence Security.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice and operational support to strengthen security outcomes across Babcock Australia.
• Develop and implement security policies, processes and procedures per DISP, DSPF, PSPF and ASIO notes.
• Coordinate access control, visitor management and physical security measures at sites.
• Conduct assurance activities, compliance reviews and risk assessments.
• Support security risk registers and mitigation strategies for emerging risks.
