Job summary

Confidential company in Australia seeks an experienced security professional to join its Crisis and Security Consulting practice. You will work on APAC projects, delivering design deliverables and supporting the design team.

The role requires 10+ years in security, experience with integrated systems (video, access, intruder), and knowledge of PSPF/ASIO. NSW licensing and Australian clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a security professional, or in a related field.
• Proficiency with BlueBeam or equivalent for design drafts.
• A sound understanding of the design engineering elements.
• Proven track record in security design consultancy projects, preferably within Asia or similar environment.
• Good understanding of RIBA design stages such as Conceptual, Developed, Technical Design.
• Knowledge of SCEC/ASIO T4 Technical Notes and PSPF/DISP requirements.
• Experience with security systems: video surveillance, access control, intruder detection, intercoms, fences, gates, etc.
• Licensed to conduct security works in Australia, NSW.
• Working knowledge of designing security rooms and secure networks.
• Understanding cybersecurity considerations for security networks.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly meetings with project stakeholders and document actions.
• Deliver security design consultancy assignments ranging from simple to complex tasks.
• Draft design stage documents such as technical specs, power loads, tender reports.
• Stay updated on advances in security technology.
• Attend onsite inspections and testing/commissioning.
• Lead and design engagements including security reviews and audits.
• Identify and pursue business opportunities and respond to RFPs.
