Job summary

Showtime Consulting is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join a high-performing networks, data & analytics team in Australia. This hands-on role focuses on building, supporting, and evolving a large-scale cloud-native data platform on Google Cloud, with emphasis on CI/CD, IaC, observability, and security across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will drive automation, build reusable frameworks, and deliver scalable platform capabilities from scratch, including IAM

Qualifications

Experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infra Engineering or similar.
Proven experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines from scratch using GitLab CI, Cloud Build, Jenkins, or similar.
Demonstrated experience developing reusable platform frameworks, templates, shared tooling, and accelerators.
Strong hands-on experience with Terraform.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud platforms in Google Cloud.
Strong observability experience with Dynatrace or similar.

Responsibilities

Design and build CI/CD pipelines from scratch across multi-environment setups.
Develop reusable platform frameworks, templates, and shared tooling used across teams.
Build and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform.
Design and deliver metadata-driven ingestion frameworks and modular platform capabilities.
Support large-scale cloud-native data platforms on GCP.
Drive observability with monitoring, dashboards, and platform reporting.
