Job summary

a’Mare 2.0 at Crown Sydney is seeking Senior Sommeliers to join our award-winning team. This casual-to-full-time role offers opportunities in a dynamic Italian dining precinct with an extensive wine cellar and world-class service expectations.

Ideal candidates will have a Diploma in hospitality, 1–3 years sommelier experience, strong wine knowledge across Italian, French, and Australian wines, and fluent English. RSA certification and Australian work rights are required.

Responsibilities

a’Mare, an elegant Italian fine-dining restaurant located at Crown Sydney, is seeking Senior Sommeliers to join our award-winning team. With an extensive wine cellar and a reputation for excellence, a’Mare proudly received the Best New Wine List at the 2021 Australian Wine List of the Year Awards.

This role is casual to start, and full time offered for the right candidate.

What We’re Looking For

• Full Australian working rights
• Current NSW RSA Certificate
• Strong expertise in wine and food pairing, with a focus on Italian, French, and Australian wines
• Fluent spoken English
• Diploma hospitality qualifications and/or 1–3 years of sommelier or relevant industry experience
• Passion for exceptional customer service and teamwork
• Immaculate grooming and professional presentation
• Experience with POS systems
