Job summary

Central Coast Council is seeking a Section Manager Business Enterprise to oversee the operational delivery of the team and coordinate programs across stadiums, parks, cemeteries, parking stations and community leasing. You will drive commercial viability through strong leadership, management and marketing practices.

This permanent full‑time role offers hybrid and flexible work arrangements and is based at the Wyong Administration Building.

Qualifications

• Degree in Tourism, Business or relevant extensive experience
• Proven leadership with ability to grow and develop teams focused on quality outcomes and customer focus
• Experience driving commercial outcomes through strategic change programs and new business models
• Extensive experience managing complex contracts and stakeholder relationships
• Experience across complex legislation requirements
• Strong communication with a diverse client base and conflict resolution skills
• Strong financial acumen in budget management and forecasting
• Willingness to work flexible hours in exceptional circumstances

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational functioning of the team and coordinate delivery of section programs and projects
• Lead Council business enterprise functions, including Central Coast Stadium, Holiday Parks, Cemeteries, Parking Stations and Community Leasing and Bookings
• Ensure services operate efficiently and support optimum commercial viability and ROI through effective management and marketing practices
• Report to Unit Manager Leisure, Beach Safety and Community Facilities and collaborate with cross‑functional teams
