Job summary

The Department of Justice is seeking a Supervisor at Karnet Prison Farm, a minimum-security facility 75km south of Perth. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering reparation activities and programs, and supervising prisoners who work in construction, maintenance, landscaping and land management.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering industry-standard practices in group environments (construction, maintenance, landscaping, conservation or land management).
• Ability to supervise a team, plan, prioritise and delegate workloads to meet timeframes.
• Strong written and verbal communication to diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet, databases, document writing and emails.
• Ability to learn in-house computer systems.

• Coordinate and deliver reparation activities and programs in the community.
• Provide on-the-job instruction and supervision to prisoners.
