Job summary

GEO Healthcare seeks an Associate Health Services Manager to lead nursing coordination at the Western Plains Correctional Centre in Lara, VIC. The role supports the Health Services Manager and ensures delivery of primary health services to prisoners.

Essential duties include coordinating nursing teams, reporting KPIs, and delivering evidence-based nursing care within a prison setting. Onsite work with rotating shifts and security clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.
• Minimum three years of postgraduate clinical experience as a registered nurse.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and coordinate patient care.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Health Services Manager to oversee primary health services at the Lara location.
• Coordinate nursing staff and clinical activities across locations as required.
• Report on Key Performance Measures (KPMs) and GEO Healthcare reporting requirements.
• Deliver nursing care within a prison setting in line with GEO Healthcare values.
