Job summary

Corrective Services NSW in Junee seeks a Senior Plumber – Facilities Maintenance to lead maintenance at the Junee Correctional Centre. You\'ll combine plumbing expertise with team leadership, mentoring staff and supervising inmates to keep the centre safe and compliant.

Qualifications

Must possess trade qualifications in Plumbing and hold current NSW Fair Trading Plumbing Contractor Licence or Qualified Supervisor Certificate.
Certification in TMV, Backflow and Gas.
Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete within specified timeframes.
Current NSW Driver's Licence and preparedness to drive to locations as required.
Must participate in an on call rotational roster.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance activities at the correctional centre and oversee essential plumbing operations.
Mentor inmates and staff, providing leadership to Trade Overseers.
Coach and develop inmates to build practical skills and pathways to employment.
Drive operational excellence within the business unit and maintain safety compliance.
