Job summary

Redlands invites an enthusiastic Secondary School Mathematics teacher to join our Cremorne campus, delivering engaging, differentiated learning for Years 7–12. You will inspire students, collaborate with colleagues to meet departmental goals, and contribute to a culture of reflective practice and lifelong learning.

Ideally you hold NSW teaching registration (NESA), WWCC, and have experience with HSC and IB DP programs, curriculum planning, assessment, and data-driven teaching.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience teaching mathematics in secondary school.
• Proven expertise in curriculum planning, assessment, and data-driven teaching.
• Strong communication, mentorship, and team-building skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage students across Years 7–12.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to Years 7–12 with differentiated learning experiences.

About the Role:

The Secondary School Mathematics teacher role calls for a passionate and innovative educator to teach Years 7-12, delivering engaging and differentiated learning experiences. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to inspire students, support departmental goals, and contribute to a collaborative school culture that values reflective practice and lifelong learning.

The successful candidate will possess:

• A genuine enthusiasm for educating and inspiring students across Years 7-12.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum content and the ability to tailor learning to diverse student needs.
• Sound background and experience in Mathematics and a demonstrated high level of competence in classroom teaching.
• Clear, constructive communication with students, parents, and staff, fostering trust and engagement.
• An ability to work closely with colleagues, students, and families to support a positive learning environment.
• Foster a student centred learning environment with high expectations.
• Attentive to pastoral care needs and proactive in supporting student development.

About You:

• Qualified, NESA registered teacher with WWCC.
• At least 2 years' experience teaching mathematics in Secondary School.
• Experienced with teaching one or both HSC and IB DP programs
• Proven expertise in curriculum planning, assessment, and data driven teaching.
• Outstanding communication, mentorship, and team building skills.
• A strategic mindset to inspire innovation and continuous improvement.
