Job summary

Apollo Education is partnering with an Independent Christian School in Western Sydney to recruit a passionate Secondary Mathematics Teacher for a permanent, full‑time role. You will teach Maths to Years 7–12, deliver engaging lessons and contribute to a faith‑centred learning community.

The ideal candidate holds a Mathematics-focused Education degree, NSW NESA accreditation or eligibility, and a commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Education, specialising in Mathematics.
• Current NSW NESA accreditation or eligible to obtain accreditation.
• Experience teaching Secondary Mathematics; senior Maths ability is a plus.
• Strong classroom management, communication and student engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated Mathematics lessons across Years 7–12.
• Plan, assess and monitor student progress with adaptive teaching.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will ideally demonstrate:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education, specialising in Mathematics.
• Current NESA accreditation or eligibility to obtain accreditation in NSW.
• Experience teaching Secondary Mathematics, with the ability to teach senior Mathematics highly regarded.
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student engagement and academic progress.
• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine commitment to Christian education and a willingness to actively support the school's Christian values and mission.
• A collaborative and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.
