Belgravia Leisure is seeking a Seasonal Pool Manager to lead operations at Moama & Mathoura Pools. The role runs for the summer season (Nov 2026–Mar 2027) on a casual/part-time basis, with potential extension to year-round sites.

You will manage daily operations, staff, and customer experience, ensuring a welcoming, safe environment. You will oversee KPIs, coach leaders, and foster a high-performance culture while maintaining strong relationships with the local council and clients.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety legislation.
• Current CPR certificate or higher.
• Current First Aid certificate (Level 2).
• National Police Check.
• Working with Vulnerable People check.
• Legal working rights in Australia.
• Pool Operations Certificate is an asset.
• Lifeguard certificate or ability to complete.

The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Venue Manager to lead our seasonal operations at Moama and Mathoura Pools on a casual basis throughout the summer.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking leader who takes pride in maintaining high standards and creating a positive, accountable team culture. You will oversee daily operations, customer experience, staff performance and venue presentation, ensuring our community enjoys a safe and welcoming environment.

Experience in venue management is not essential. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong organisational skills, a willingness to learn and the ability to lead a team with confidence and integrity. We can provide the training and support needed to develop the technical aspects of the role.

This role is a 4 month contract, with the opportunity to continue at one of our year round sites. Season timeline, November 2026 - March 2027.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of visitors and employees through effective planning and oversight of polices, processes and procedures.
• Coach and develop leaders to deliver on KPIs through engagement, performance planning and individual development plans.
• Lead and drive a high performance community minded culture through highly visible and hands-on leadership and team engagement.
• Achievement of budgeted performance targets.
• Maintain a high value relationship with local Council
• Implement a high value customer service proposition that addresses the needs of the client base.
• Recruitment of energetic, diverse and passionate employees as required to compliment the team and the vision for the Centre.

You will be able to share insights into how you have successfully shaped high-performance teams into business actions. You can easily articulate the link between employee engagement and exceptional business performance.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Highly developed communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes
• Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Current CPR Certificate
• Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
• National Police Check
• Working with Vulnerable People
• Legal working rights in Australia
• Current Pool Operations Certificateis not essential but highly regarded
• Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or ability to successfully complete the course)
