Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm Cafe in Tasmania is seeking a qualified chef to join our kitchen team for the peak season. Under the Head Chef, you will prepare and plate dishes from our seasonal menu, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation while supporting kitchen operations during busy periods.

We offer daytime trading from 7am to 5pm with no split shifts, casual employment with flexible days and hours, and potential progression to permanent full-time.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume kitchen operation.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• High attention to detail and pride in food quality and presentation.
• Great communication skills.
• Professional approach to food safety, hygiene and workplace standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate dishes from seasonal menu, maintain high quality and presentation.
• Follow daily preparation schedules for efficient kitchen production and service.
• Set up, stock and maintain kitchen station.
• Assist with deliveries, storage, stock rotation and general kitchen organisation.
• Maintain high standards in food safety, cleanliness and kitchen hygiene.
• Build strong relationships with front of house and back of house staff.
