Job summary

Jaywing Australia is seeking an SEO Specialist to support the delivery of SEO strategies across a portfolio of clients—covering technical optimisation, content, and off-page activity. You’ll own key workstreams and contribute to performance outcomes.

You’ll conduct keyword research, audits, and competitor analyses; build roadmaps; monitor rankings and traffic; report insights; and collaborate with strategists and digital teams in a hybrid Sydney setting.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in SEO, ideally agency-side.
• Strong understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO.
• Experience with Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush or similar.
• Strong analytical skills with data interpretation.
• Clear communication to explain SEO concepts to varying audiences.
• Proactive, with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver core SEO activity across technical, content, and off-page workstreams.

As an SEO Specialist, you’ll support the delivery of SEO strategies across a portfolio of clients - working across technical optimisation, content, and off-page activity. You’ll collaborate with senior team members while taking ownership of key workstreams and contributing directly to performance outcomes.

Day to day you’ll:

• Support the development and execution of SEO strategies aligned to client goals

You’ll ideally have:

• ~2-4 years’ experience in SEO, ideally agency-side
• Solid understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO
• Experience using tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw insights
• Confidence managing multiple tasks and deadlines
• Clear communication skills-able to explain SEO concepts to different audiences
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop
