Job summary

ScrumCraft is seeking a seasoned Scrum Master to join our Adelaide-based R&D team, guiding cross-functional squads through the full product development lifecycle, from backlog refinement to release delivery.

You will coach teams in agile principles, shield them from organisational noise, and ensure Product Owners and engineers stay aligned from strategy to execution in a fast-moving electromechanical product environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in a product development/engineering/R&D environment.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and Kanban frameworks with practical facilitation experience.
• Ability to manage backlog complexity, resolve competing priorities, and maintain clear delivery cadences.
• Excellent coaching, facilitation, and stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiar with planning/tracking/visual management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello or similar.
• Experience with scaled agile environments (e.g. SAFe, Scrum at Scale, Nexus, LeSS).
• Formal agile certification is highly regarded.
• Background in change management or coaching teams through agile adoption.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and backlog management across the squad and interfaces.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Coach teams in agile values, principles and practices for self-management.
• Align Product Owners and engineering stakeholders from strategy to execution.
• Identify blockers and drive timely risk responses without disrupting momentum.
