Job summary

IT Alliance Australia is seeking a Scrum Master for a Federal Government project in Adelaide. The role focuses on guiding agile practices, refining the product backlog with the product owner, and ensuring the team delivers with discipline and alignment to agile principles.

The successful candidate will foster an environment of continuous improvement, coordinate with multiple teams to manage dependencies, and help the team resolve conflicts while maintaining adherence to the agreed agile

Qualifications

• Experience implementing changes in workplace practices.
• Ability to assist the product owner with backlog review and prioritisation.
• Knowledge of agile values, principles, processes and tools.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams to manage dependencies.
• Capability to enforce agile process rules and resolve team conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement changes in workplace practices and business improvement strategies and assist team to transition with change.
• Assist the product owner with reviewing and refining the product backlog, re-prioritising and re-assessing the relevance of tasks/stories to ensure alignment with agile principles.
• Build the team's knowledge of agile values, and principles, as well as techniques, processes and tools.
• Co-ordinate with other teams as required to manage dependencies and support the team to deliver.
• Ensure team adherence to the agreed agile process rules and help the team to remain effective by stepping in to manage conflicts and challenges.
