Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking an experienced project leader to govern complex initiatives within agile frameworks, ensuring accountability for scope, schedule, and budget while advancing cyber security delivery. You will collaborate with internal teams, sponsors, and external vendors to align objectives and sustain engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Lead complex projects from initiation to closure with budget and quality accountability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, sponsors and vendors.
• Have appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrate equivalent experience.
• Hold relevant certs such as CSM or PSM.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cyber security technologies and delivery.

In this role, you'll:

• Lead the delivery and governance using agile framework initiatives, ensuring agile delivery cadences are effectively executed while maintaining accountability for project financials, budget forecasting, resource capacity planning, delivery reporting, and the successful achievement of project outcomes.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, sponsors, and vendors including specialised resources within the technical teams to ensure alignment, collaboration, and sustained engagement throughout the project lifecycle

About you

• Proven ability to lead complex projects from initiation to closure, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality with accountability
• Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, sponsors, and vendors to ensure alignment and sustained collaboration
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience
• The successful candidate will hold relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent
• Demonstrated subject matter knowledge of cyber security technologies and their delivery
