Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Scrum Master for Cyber Delivery in Sydney. The role focuses on delivering reliable cyber services through structured agile governance and strong stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will lead initiatives, manage budgets and forecasts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to safeguard critical infrastructure and data against cyber threats.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex projects using agile frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, budget and quality from initiation to closure.
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead agile delivery cadences and governance, including budget forecasting, resource capacity, and delivery reporting.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with internal/external stakeholders, sponsors and vendors.
• Proven ability to lead complex cyber delivery projects end-to-end.
• Build and maintain strong relationships for alignment and sustained collaboration.

In this role, you'll:

• Lead the delivery and governance using agile framework initiatives, ensuring agile delivery cadences are effectively executed while maintaining accountability for project financials, budget forecasting, resource capacity planning, delivery reporting, and the successful achievement of project outcomes.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, sponsors, and vendors including specialised resources within the technical teams to ensure alignment, collaboration, and sustained engagement throughout the project lifecycle
• Proven ability to lead complex projects from initiation to closure, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality with accountability
• Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, sponsors, and vendors to ensure alignment and sustained collaboration
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience
• The successful candidate will hold relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent
• Demonstrated subject matter knowledge of cyber security technologies and their delivery
