Qualifications

• 2 years RN experience in Scrub Scout Nursing with experience in Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Urology, ENT or General Surgery.
• Authority to Work in Australia
• Working with Children check
• Current Registration with AHPRA
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
• Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based standards of nursing care.
• Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members to deliver patient care.
• Deliver education and support to individuals for health recovery or post-op needs.
• Lead quality improvement and safety projects to deliver outcomes.
• Work with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.
• Act as a role model for Safe Practice.
