Job summary
Healthscope's Nepean Private Hospital in Western Sydney is seeking experienced Scrub Scout Registered Nurses for full-time and part-time roles. You will join a perioperative team delivering high-quality patient care across Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Urology, ENT and general surgery.
Enjoy flexible rostering, supportive team culture and ongoing professional development while contributing to a modern 109-bed facility with extensive surgical capabilities.
Qualifications
- Must deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care.
- Supervise Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing.
- Provide education and support for patient recovery and end-of-life needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care.
- Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; ENs and AINs to deliver patient care.
- Deliver education and support to individuals for health recovery or end-of-life needs.
- Lead quality improvement and safety projects to achieve outcomes.
- Collaborate with wider healthcare team to support patient care needs.
- Act as a role model for Safe Practice.
- 2 years’ RN Scrub Scout experience in Orthopaedics/Neurosurgery/Spinal/Urology/ENT/general surgery.
