Job summary

Rouse Hill Anglican College (RHAC) is a growing independent co-educational Christian school in Sydney’s Hills District seeking a full-time Science teacher to commence at the start of Term 1 2027. The College invites applications from teachers specializing in any Science faculty subject and welcomes part-time applicants as well.

Qualifications

• Construct teaching programs, based on applicable NESA syllabi, that will enable you to:
• Orchestrate engaging lessons that maximise learning for all students in the class.

• Provide meaningful feedback on the academic work students produce in a way that will help them to improve.
• Achieve strong academic results.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in College activities and events including:
• Contributing to the student wellbeing program, extra-curricular activities and camps.
• Attending chapel, assemblies and other College activities.
• Undertaking rostered playground or supervision duties.
• Attending College events, including parent teacher meetings.

We are seeking a full-time Science teacher to commence at the beginning of Term 1 2027. Teachers seeking full or part-time work are welcome to apply. The College welcomes applications from teachers who specialise in any Science faculty subject.

The Contract

All teachers at RHAC are employed under the Independent Schools (Teachers) Cooperative Multi Enterprise Agreement 2025 (MEA). The MEA outlines teacher’s salaries and their employment rights and responsibilities.

The College implements the Child Safe Standards developed by the Office of the Children’s Guardian. College staff receive annual child safe training.
